Why it exists
It is not size. It is hands the work asks for.
Some engagements are not delivered well by one person and there is no point pretending otherwise. A platform assessment needs someone who has run platform. A dashboard a committee actually uses needs someone who can design it, not only draw it.
The collective is that and nothing more: capacity added when the engagement asks for it. It is not a pyramid. Nobody is going to hand your question back to you, translated.
The three rules that make it contractable
Whoever listens is whoever signs
The founder leads and signs every engagement. That does not rotate, is not delegated and does not change with the size of the project. The collective executes inside a scope that has already been decided.
Availability is confirmed before signing
If the person needed is not confirmed, the proposal says so and narrows the scope: it is delivered working, without the layer that depends on them. A declared downgrade, never a silent substitution.
What gets delivered is yours
Every deliverable is your property, with the documentation to run it without us. A collective that leaves takes nothing you need with it.
